Wydał około 30 płyt, niektóre z przyjaciółmi.       Wymienię takich jak Ron Boots, Ruud Heij czy Cadenced Heaven. To bardzo zdolni ludzie i ich wzajemne oddziaływanie doprowadziło do powstania wielu interesujących nagrań. Jednak niezależnie od kolaboracji, solowe płyty Emmensa zawsze warto poznać bliżej.   Najnowszy taki projekt to "Time Portal Chronicles". Zawiera przede wszystkim kilka długich utworów które zbudowane są w charakterystyczny dla autora sposób: tajemnicze rozwinięcie, budowanie nastroju, wprowadzenie miłej dla uszu sekwencji, a potem romantycznej melodii i perkusji. Bo jak Gert przyznał mi w wywiadzie - jest romantykiem. Jak pewnie wszyscy jego fani. Treść tych nagrań nie odbiega od wysokiego standardu jaki kiedyś Emmens osiągnął i chociaż niczym specjalnym nie zaskakuje, to jest pewnego rodzaju fenomenem. Co mam na myśli? Fakt że ta muzyka, choć podobna do poprzednich wydawnictw przyciąga uwagę niczym ciekawy film i dostarcza radości. Czyli jak w przypadku niektórych innych wykonawców jest to forma muzykoterapii. Powoduje ogólne rozprężenie organizmu, wyciszenie, ukojenie. Czy to na skutek hipnotycznych sekwencji czy ciepłych melodii? Osądźcie to sami. 

  Gert Emmens is a famous Dutch musician who plays soft electronic music, sometimes progressive rock. He has released about 30 albums, some with friends. I will mention the likes of Ron Boots, Ruud Heij or Cadenced Heaven. These very talented people and their interaction with each other have led to the creation of many interesting recordings. However, regardless of the collaboration, Emmens' solo albums are always worth getting to know better. The latest such project is "Time Portal Chronicles". First of all, it contains a few long pieces that are built in a way characteristic for the author: a mysterious development, building a mood, introducing a sequence pleasant to the ears, and then a romantic melody and percussion. Because, as Gert admitted in an interview, he is a romantic. As surely all his fans do. The content of these recordings does not differ from the high standard that Emmens once achieved and although it does not surprise with anything special, it is a kind of phenomenon. What I mean? The fact that this music, although similar to previous releases, attracts attention like an interesting movie and brings joy. So, as in the case of some other performers, it is a form of music therapy. It causes the overall relaxation of the body, calming down and soothing. Is it because of the hypnotic sequences or the warm melodies? Judge it for yourself.
